Hitzkirch sits in the Seetal valley, between Lake Baldegg and Lake Hallwil.
The Baldeggersee is only a few minutes away, perfect for walks and swimming, while the Hallwilersee, some seven kilometres on, offers scenic trails and boat tours. Right beside the hotel stands the Church of St. Pankratius, first founded around 1084.
